Counseling Makes a Difference

People choose therapy for many different reasons. Often people come to therapy for problems that are preventing them from enjoying life:

  • Stress
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Cultural conflicts
  • Grief and loss
  • Parenting
  • Aging
  • Loneliness
  • Transitions

The first step toward a happier life

To get started, call us at 206-524-9055. Our intake therapist will answer any questions you have about therapy. If you are interested in getting started, you will be asked a few brief questions, and will be able to make an initial appointment with a therapist to discuss your concerns.

What to expect

You and your therapist will develop an individual treatment plan which will include your goals for making changes.

You may discuss both your past and current experiences to better understand your present circumstances. Your therapist will support and encourage your strengths as well as help you find alternatives for dealing with your difficult issues.

The anticipated result of therapy is your ability to lead a fuller, more rewarding life.

Appointment times

We offer both daytime and evening appointments.

How often will my appointments be?

Some people meet with their therapist weekly or more often. Others decide to meet on a less regular basis. While we encourage people to remain dedicated to therapy for the entire course of treatment, you may decide to conclude your treatment at any time.

Medication

We do not prescribe medications but we do collaborate with prescribing physicians.

Fees

We accept many insurance plans, and, in some locations, offer reduced fees depending on your circumstances.
