When it comes to fighting homelessness and other issues, numbers are important. But what's really at stake are human beings. Individuals or children who were born into poverty or who are struggling for the first time in their lives because of difficult circumstances.

Last year we improved the lives of more than 10,000 King County residents and the results were astounding.
Service results
- Our counseling services helped 85% of clients improve their mental health functioning based on standardized assessments.
- Our housing services helped 96% of families at-risk of becoming homeless keep their housing with the help of our eviction prevention services and rental assistance.
Service output
In 2007
- Our counseling services provided 2,508 individuals received 30,644 hours of mental health counseling.
- Morningsong Early Learning Center provided 70 homeless children with 5,976 days of childcare.
- Baby Boutique provided 1,069 homeless families with 2,255 children received free diapers, clothing, shoes, and baby equipment.
- Our housing services provided 23,172 nights of emergency and long-term housing to 236 families with 374 children. 92 families moved into stable housing and received complete services such as counseling, budgeting and parenting support.
- Our housing services helped 121 families facing eviction maintained their housing
- Our domestic violence program, helped 58 men stop physically and emotionally abusing their partners.
- Baby Boutique provided $839,250.00 in donated children's clothing and supplies to 2,255 homeless children and their families.
- Baby Boutique gave out 57,420 diapers to homeless families.
